One of my favourite directors adapts a book by one of my favourite writers. And I can confidently tell you this is the most faithful adaptation of a book I’ve ever seen, despite a few minor parts skimmed over for time reasons. All the actors fucking nail it and I consider it Big Keanus finest moment.
The roto scopes animation is glorious to look at, the highlight being the scramble suits.
P.s there is an audio book of the novel narrated by Paul Giamattie which I highly reccomend.

The film that perfectly captures the simulatanious desire to improve the world while simulataniously knowing there is fuck all you can do about it. With a low budget indie feel that for once totally works. Will kick you in the feels 4/5.

Enjoyed this one much more then the first Ant Man. Daft as a box of frogs but a lot of fun. Starting Paul Rudd as Paul Rudd with super powers and that bird from lost as love interest/suddenly now a super hero because reasons. Veiwer beware, Requires a super human amount of suspension of disbelief when they start talking about physics.

The film that likes to remind you how much better the film its constantly referencing is. Somehow the CGI is worse as well. Chris Pratt was alright, some good Dino fights but overall a cynical peice of fucking trash.
1 Star. Would watch Jurassic Park instead.

I said “that’s the most metal thing I’ve ever seen.” SIX TIMES while watching this. 5/5 would flame guitar again.
