“This film is laden with canards”
Staring one of the greatest actors of all time Paul Giamattie (fight me.) In deliciously dark and cynical yet simultaneously hilarious comedy. Will make you want to drink wine, like a lot.
For more fun get the DVD or the iTunes version which have the single funniest commentary track I’ve ever heard. Featuring the two lead actors shooting the shit and trying to out do each other’s vocabulary for the duration of the film.

Finnaly a comic book movie that requires a bit of critical thought. Went into this having read damn near 50/50 good and bad reviews. Which is a good sign, because it provoked reactions both ways. I enjoyed it a lot, looks great in a grim way, big Phoenix is fucking outstanding and the story despite a few nit picks was a fucking roller coaster.
I can see why people are worried about it glorifying violence (especially in the US) but I think these arguments ignore one frequently over looked aspect. You don’t always have to be on the side of the main character.
