Probably one of the best stop motion movies ever made from a technical/artistic point of view. I love the sound design idea of using the same voice for every character bar Michel and Lisa. Story wise Michel is not a likeable character in the least, to me at least. But I think it’s to the films benefit. Is he is how he is because he is genuinely ill? Is the world actually full of carbon copies? Or is he just a self absorbed prick. I guess that’s up to the viewer to figure out.
