Beau Is Afraid, 2023 - ★★★ 🎞️ | Via Letterboxd
Forest Gump on bath salts.
The film is well on its way to becoming a legit cinematic masterpiece but it swerves off at regular intervals to disappear up its own arse. I want to see “The Editors Cut” rather then “The Directors Cut” of this one.
That said it’s well worth seeing on the big screen. Lots of it I can genuinely say you’ll have never seen anything like it and not just the obvious bit.
